Our team works closely with children, families, ECD practitioners, and community organisations across Mpumalanga to support rural communities in meaningful, practical ways.

Topsy Foundation is a South African non-profit with more than 25 years of experience serving rural communities. We welcome enquiries from CSI managers, grant funders, international and individual donors, government departments, and organisations looking to make a real impact. Our work focuses on Early Childhood Development (ECD), child nutrition, food security, women’s health, family support, and broader community development.

If you’d like to learn more about the communities we serve, how your organisation can partner with us, or how to support or sponsor a programme, we’d love to hear from you. Our team will guide you to the right contact person and help you find the most effective way to get involved.

Our programme site is based in the Dipaleseng Local Municipality, supporting communities in Grootvlei, Balfour, eMbalenhle, and surrounding rural areas. This strong local presence enables Topsy Foundation to deliver lasting impact through accredited ECD practitioner training, child nutrition programmes, food security initiatives, family support, and sustainable farming.

Make a difference

With the support of our donors, we work to break the cycle of poverty in Mpumalanga’s poorest rural communities. We do this by empowering and supporting parents and caregivers, and capacitating Early Childhood Development practitioners to raise happy, healthy and capable children. 100% of your contribution provides support to a child in need during the crucial early years of their development.
