Changing the Story: From Unemployment to Entrepreneurship

When Mimmie Mncube joined the Create Your Own Job programme, she was not just looking for skills. She was looking for a way forward.

Today, she is building her own laundry business.

With the support she received, including funding of R20,000, Mimmie is working towards owning essential equipment like a washing machine and dryer. Each step brings her closer to financial independence.

Sthiwe Nxumalo is on a similar journey.

With R10,000 in funding, she is growing her crocodile meat business and working towards launching a mobile food truck that will allow her to reach customers across Mpumalanga.

These are not just small businesses.

These are women rewriting their futures.

Through training, mentorship, and support, they have gained more than business knowledge. They have gained confidence, direction, and belief in what is possible.
