2015 was a truly fantastic year for the Topsy Enterprise Development Programme. The 17 women who are a part of the programme in rural Mpumalanga have continued to learn and grow their knowledge and skills and maintain a steady income for themselves and their families.

The women created some beautiful pieces for Woolworths, Crossroads Church in the US, Ogilvy & Mather and Wits University - from beaded brooches to embroidered bags. Each hand made item was lovingly crafted at our sanctuaries in Grootvlei and Balfour, Mpumalanga.

We were invited to exhibit at numerous markets and events throughout the year, which have not only created much needed exposure for the programme but also aided us in raising the funds needed to ensure the programme continues to run as a self-sustainable, skills development facility for the community. With new products in development and the continued energy and creativity in the ladies of the programme, we look forward to a fruitful and vibrant 2016…. Watch this space.
